Introduction & Merger- West Coast Kidney Institute

With roots going back to 1972 and spanning 4 Bay Area counties, West Coast Kidney Institute brings together the collective history and expertise of 3 successful medical groups – Chabot Nephrology Medical Group, Diablo Nephrology Medical Group, and West Bay Nephrology Associates – to form a new comprehensive enterprise dedicated to advancing the science of kidney care and enhancing the quality of life for kidney disease patients across the greater Bay Area.

We call it “person- and family-centered kidney care.”  When you or a family member starts coming to West Coast Kidney Institute our goal is to ensure every patient gets the best clinical outcomes, while feeling knowledgeable about their condition, and truly supported and cared for during every step of the journey.

Services Provided, Locations, and Specialty-

Comprised of 36 nephrologists, 10 advanced practice providers, 15 office locations, 3 vascular centers, and kidney education programs, we strive to deliver the very best care to patients. We also contribute daily to delivering dialysis treatment, providing hands on care for patients at over 50 dialysis centers.
