Biography

Lydia Andemariam, MSN, FNP-C earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, East Bay; and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Samuel Merritt University. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. 

At West Coast Kidney Institute’s Castro Valley location, Lydia provides comprehensive care for patients with kidney disease, focusing on patient education and empowerment to improve kidney health. She is known for her compassionate, patient-centered care and her deep passion for serving vulnerable and underserved populations. With two decades of diverse nursing experience, Lydia has cared for patients in intensive care settings, including those newly diagnosed with kidney failure, and has provided dialysis within the ICU.
