Deepika Kancherla, MD is a board-certified nephrologist. She completed her medical education at Siddhartha Medical College, NTR University of Health Sciences in India; completed her residency in internal medicine at the UCSF-affiliated Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland; followed by a nephrology fellowship at the UCLA-affiliated Cedars-Sinai Medical Center/VA West Los Angeles Medical Center. She further specialized by completing a fellowship in transplant nephrology at the University of California, San Francisco.
At West Coast Kidney Institute in Pleasanton, Dr. Kancherla cares for patients with a broad spectrum of kidney conditions, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerular disease, hypertension, electrolyte abnormalities, and dialysis management. She also specializes in caring for kidney transplant donors and recipients.
