Albert Kao, MD

Dr. Albert Kao received his Doctor of Medicine from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed residency training at Stanford University Hospitals and Clinics, and fellowship training at the University of California, San Francisco. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. Currently, he serves as Medical Director of the DaVita Colma dialysis unit, and associate medical director of the DaVita Mills dialysis unit. He is the Chief Medical Officer of West Coast Kidney Institute. In his spare time, he plays the violin and enjoys backpacking and the outdoors with his wife and two children.
